Bath Bomb Kit
Our Bath Bomb Kit provides you with the basics required to make your own all natural, safe bath bombs at home. You will see how simple, cost effective and fun it can be to make your own bath bombs. All you will need extra is some optional essential oils for fragrance and colourants, dried botanicals are a lovely addition. Dried botanicals can be found here.
Kit includes:
- 1kg Bicarb Soda
- 500g Citric Acid
- 500g Epsom Salt
- 100ml Fractionated Coconut Oil
- 1 set of Metal Bath Bomb Moulds
- Mesh Bag for using with Bath Bombs to contain botanicals
- Bath Bomb Recipe Card
- Bath Bomb Label
This kit works perfectly with the following recipe and you will be able to make 3 and a half batches of the recipe with the ingredients in the kit.:
WHAT YOU NEED
1 Cup Bicarb Soda
1/2 Cup Citric Acid
1/2 Cup Epsom Salt
1 Tbsp Carrier Oil
20 drops essential oil
Dried Botanicals - Optional
Bath bomb mould OR
Silicone ice cube tray
WHAT YOU DO
Add all dry ingredients to large bowl, combine well, ensuring no lumps.
Mix essential oils with carrier oil in a small bowl & add to dry ingredients and mix well.
Add dried botanicals to the mix OR place a small amount in the bottom of your mould.
Place a small amount of mixture over the top of botanicals and push down, keeping botanicals centered.
Overfill remainder of mould.
Overfill 2nd mould and push together firmly allowing excess to fall back into bowl.
Tap mould with a spoon to loosen, remove bath bomb & allow it to sit in a dry place for 24-48 hours until firm.
If using ice cube tray
Add a small amount of dried botanicals to the bottom of each section. Then fill each section with mixture and press down firmly. Top up with more mixture if needed and press down firmly again.
Allow to dry in tray for 24-48 hours before gently popping out of the tray.
IF IN HUMID ENVIRONMENT
If you are in a humid environment ensure you allow your bath bombs to dry in an airtight container as they will react to the moisture in the air as they are drying out.
