Argan Oil is often referred to as "liquid gold" and is a prized oil that is used for skin, nails and hair.
Traditionally, Moroccans used argan oil to treat everything from eczema and psoriasis to wrinkles and hair loss. Argan seeds are full of monounsaturated fatty acids and antioxidants. They have more vitamin E than olive oil which contributes to to making skin feel soft and supple.
Here are a couple of uses for this popular, golden oil:
NAILS
Add to your nails for a nail conditioner. Argan oil’s softening properties are ideal for brittle nails, dry hands and cracked, hard skin on feet. It both moisturises and softens skin, leaving hands and feet supple and soft and nails strong and healthy.
Try this Argan Oil cuticle cream:
What you need:
2 tablespoons Argan oil
2 tablespoons sweet almond oil
2 tablespoons Shea butter
3-5 drops of vitamin E oil
1 ½ tablespoon beeswax
20 drops Lavender essential oil
10 drops Frankincense essential oil
10 drops Myrrh essential oil
What you do:
Mix the oils, shea butter, and beeswax in a small glass bowl over a pan with boiling water. Stir the mixture until completely melted. Remove from heat and add the essential oils blend and vitamin E oil. Store in clean containers.
SKIN
Add directly to your face and body for an all over moisturiser. Argan oil is most commonly used as a skin moisturiser to hydrate and soften skin. With its high vitamin E and fatty acid content, argan oil is ideal to give skin a natural boost. It absorbs easily and is non-greasy and non-irritating, which makes it a popular natural moisturiser.

Use four or five drops for your face, morning and night. It should last for at least a year if stored somewhere relatively cool and dry.
HAIR
Add to hair as a conditioning treatment. Argan oil is proven to make hair softer, silkier and shinier. It is the ideal hair conditioner, and it can even help to treat split ends and tame frizzy hair. Argan oil makes hair more manageable and adds a healthy, shine to any hair.
