Our Certified Organic, Food Grade Detox Blend is a beautiful addition to your DIY projects. It contains a combination of Calendula Petals, Fennel Seed, Lemongrass, Licorice Root, Nettle, Red Rose Petals, Juniper Berries.
Calendula
Calendula has been known to possess anti-inflammatory capabilities; to calm muscle spasms; aid in menstruation; improve oral health; and also contains antimicrobial and antiviral components, which aid in digestion.
Rose
The rose plant have so many beneficial components! Containing vitamins E, D, C, A, and B3, and possessing antioxidants, antidepressants, anti-inflammator properties, this plant is a wonderful source of therapeutic points.
Lemongrass
Aiding in digestion, lemongrass is also a wonderful ingredient full of antioxidants, which can help regulate metabolism, blood pressure, and great for use in helping burn fat and reducing cold and flu symptoms.
Licorice Root
Used to help soothe gastrointestinal issues, licorice root is beneficial to aid in the restoration of stomach lining, and creating new balance.
Fennel
Fennel's fibre, potassium, folate, vitamin C, vitamin B-6, and phytonutrient content, coupled with its lack of cholesterol, all support heart health. Fennel contains significant amounts of fibre. As fibre helps lower the total amount of cholesterol in the blood, it decreases the risk of heart disease.
Juniper Berries
Containing antioxidants, juniper berries are a wonderful sleep aid, great for heart health, and to help improve digestion. A wonderful ingredient as part of diabetic health.
Nettle
Nettle in tea health benefits include treating muscle pain, promoting cardiovascular health, maintaining kidney health, improving digestion, boosting immune system, enhancing the skin and treating respiratory. Other benefits includes supporting bone health, acting as a detoxifier, preventing inflammation and treating menstrual cramps.

Our botanicals are not treated with Ionised Radiation when they arrive into Australia.
In Australia there a few types of treatment that food can undergo on entry in Australia. Ionised Irradiation and Heat Treatment or Steam Sterilisation, are what is typically used should a product require treatment.
Whilst it is true that some products can be treated with ionised irradiation at entry into Australia and deemed safe by the FSANZ, the botanicals we sell have not undergone irradiation.
In line with the Food Standards Australia and New Zealand any product that has undergone such treatment needs to have the logo displayed and labelled as such so consumers can make educated decisions about the products they purchase."
We do not sell products that have undergone irradiation treatment however from time to time heat treatment is necessary on some products, most commonly spices. Steam Sterilisation is used to eliminate micro organisms that might exist in the product and is widely used in the food industry to ensure no bacteria exists in the product prior to consumption.
Products are inspected by AQIS at entry into Australia and put under direction for treatment should it be needed.
