A natural lime scale remover – that works!
I am not a huge fan of cleaning at the best of times, but I hate it even more if it includes using toxic products. I tend to get headaches and react really badly to them as I am quite sensitive to many chemicals
We have had lime scale on one of our shower screens for a while. The cleaner hadn’t been able to get it all off so I had something that I would be able to try out the oils on. I had seen this Lime Scale Remover recipe many times, but it seemed too good to be true! All it has is Water, Baking Soda, Lemon and Lime essential oils. That’s it!
So I made some of this paste and gave it a try.
To say I am impressed is an understatement! There is still a little bit on there but it is SO much better than it was. I haven’t had to use any toxic chemicals, it smells lovely and it actually worked!
Here is the recipe that I used:
1/2 cup Baking Soda
3 Tablespoons of water
5 drops of Lemon oil
5 drops Lime oil
Add all ingredients together and rub over area of concern
Leave for 20 minutes
I ended up putting a little more baking soda in as it was really runny.
